Our Real Estate Story

For Brett Griggs, real estate is a family business; his father was a successful home builder and his mother is the owner of Spring Hill Realty also located here in Spring Hill Tennessee. Brett began his career working for his father who was a local home builder in Maury County, Tennessee. His father managed his projects end-to-end, often working alongside his crew; Brett learned the value of hard work and attention to detail. In 1991, Brett Griggs Construction was founded and grew quickly; by the mid-‘90s, Brett and his team were building subdivisions and developing neighborhoods throughout Maury and Williamson Counties.

In 2003, Brett became a Licensed Realtor® and placed his license with his mother’s firm, allowing him to better serve his clients with all their real estate needs. In 2013, he became the managing broker. Brett quickly expanded the brokerage, tripling the staff in only 5 short years. In 2019, Brett opened his own firm, Middle Tennessee Real Estate and today, he and his staff provide representation for all aspects of real estate including residential and commercial development. Property Management is also available.

Working with buyers, sellers, and investors, he brings the same attention to detail and hands-on experience to manage their transactions to a successful close. I Bought land in Tennessee from a big land broker with agent representation who worked for that broker. We were then lied to and had to get lawyers because we wanted our money back, it was a nightmare. We looked for an Agent outside of Jamestown who would not be tied to possible lying agents and brokers. And Tracey did not hesitate to help us. One evening we signed onto Realtor.com to get more information about a listing in middle Tennessee. We were expecting some response the next day. Tracy called use in less than 30 minutes. We explained that we were in New Mexico looking to move back to Tennessee since we had retired. Tracy agreed to work with us even though the listings we were interested in were outside her usual territory. When we arranged our trip to Tennessee, she scheduled showings for the houses we were interested as well as several others that met our criteria. When we met Tracy in person we hit it off right away because she actually cared about finding a house we wanted. At each house she carefully pointed out the positives and negatives of each one. She was a pleasure to work with and always put our interests first in spite of having to drive over two hours to meet with us. While the houses we had picked out did not pan out, she found us one that we purchased. She stayed with us throughout the closing process, advocating for us through out the process. We would definitely recommend Tracy for anyone looking for a home in middle Tennessee. Especially if your looking for someone that will put your interests first.

We met Tracy while searching for a home closer to our daughter and granddaughter. She listened to our needs and helped us find the perfect home! Not only did she find our forever home she helped us sell our previous home! She was honest and patient. Whenever we had questions she always found the answers for us. There was one home we looked at that we were willing to put in an offer on, but Tracy said something didn't feel right about it. In doing further research we found out that the work had been done without the proper permits being pulled. There was no way to know if the plumbing and electrical were up to code without completely gutting the home to find out. She could have written up the contract and walked away, but she didn't do that! Instead she worked with us honestly! It is not just about making a sale for her.
